Certification

The ESG Certification in packaging

PackInPro Certification is an independent, university-led assurance system

It makes the ESG impact of packaging and production processes open to scrutiny — through empirical evidence, transparent analytical models, and clear governance rules.

Versioned method – Comparable indicators – Declared sensitivity

To us, “ESG impact” means environmental, social, and governance dimensions translated into observable indicators, integrated through an explicit model — weights, rules, logic — and backed by governance and a traceable evidence chain. Without that architecture, it’s just reputation management dressed up in the right vocabulary.

Not everything can be measured the same way. Where data is incomplete or an indicator is shaky, we say so — and treat it as an area for improvement or further research. Transparency means being honest about what we don’t know yet.

Open means public rules, scientific review, and the right to challenge. Scalable means a modular protocol that applies across product categories without sacrificing comparability. Scalability isn’t a commercial shortcut — it’s the technical condition for tracking ESG impact over time.

The capacity to produce transparency

We assess governance, data infrastructure, processes, and auditability — the organizational machinery that makes transparency possible and repeatable. This is where equipment and controls matter: reliable data doesn’t exist without the industrial foundation to generate it consistently.

ESG impact across the supply chain

We assess a product’s ESG footprint at every stage of the supply chain: indicators, traceability, and verification. A result is only as credible as the chain of custody behind the data.

Certification is a learning platform: every assessment surfaces evidence, gaps, and corrections. The goal is an ecosystem where companies and universities work together to reduce ambiguity and make continuous improvement operational — not aspirational. Transparency is infrastructure: data, processes, and equipment have to sustain what you claim over time, not just at the moment of assessment.

The value isn’t a badge. It’s the reduction of arbitrariness: making ESG impact contestable and verifiable through shared evidence and agreed rules of proof.

  • Supply chain trust: results that can be inspected, not just cited.
  • Informational efficiency: indicators that hold up to comparison.
  • Reduced reputational risk: declared limits, tracked updates.
  • Innovation: verification makes process intervention points visible.
