Mission

Mission

To make ESG impact in packaging measurable
and open to audit

To build the conditions for collaboration on verifiable ground: data, method, governance, and accountability.

“Verified ESG impact”

ESG impact isn’t a moral badge. It’s a claim that lives or dies by data, rules, and accountability. As long as the models, the weightings, and the assumptions stay hidden, trust is just belief.

Shared costs, shared accountability

No single actor can carry transparency alone. Pro-social commitment means accepting that — and building structures where everyone contributes to making it real and keeping it that way.

Declared limits: we track what can be observed

We measure ESG impact where it’s possible to define clear indicators, identifiable sources, observation periods, and verification rules. We translate E, S, and G dimensions into observable quantities across the packaging supply chain.

  • process and product data, with an explicit chain of custody;
  • indicators tied to concrete design and management decisions;
  • rules for updating results when data or methodology changes.

Intentions and reputational claims

We don’t measure intentions, slogans, or generic claims that can’t be traced to verifiable indicators. When a topic is relevant but the data isn’t yet solid, we treat it as experimental or exploratory — not as an established result.

Declaring these limits is part of the mission. Being explicit about what falls within the scope of verification — and what remains, for now, a commitment or an open question — is not a disclaimer. It’s the work.

How we verify

Data, model, and governance are made inspectable through an independent assurance system.

Data, model, governance

Data. Every indicator has an operational definition, a source, a reference period, and control rules. Every number is defined, dated, and versioned.

Model. E, S, and G dimensions are combined through explicit weightings and thresholds. Results depend on assumptions and weightings: we declare sensitivities and limits.

Governance. Scientific review and correction policies ensure that both method and results can be challenged and updated on empirical grounds.

ESG, in plain sight (learning hub)

The ESG, in plain sight page is built around rigorous literacy: explaining why ratings may diverge, how to read a result, and what limits we acknowledge.

Some figures and cases are illustrative. Indicators and thresholds will evolve as the evidence base develops.
